Kristina Cruises

Kristina Cruises was started up in Finland as a family-owned company under the name of Rannikolinjat, but because of the kinda difficult name in the international cruise-industry they became known as Kristina Cruises. The company operated two smaller cruiseships, the Kristina Regina in the international market and the smaller Kristina Brahe in the local Finnish market. In 2010, the company replaced the aging 1959-built Kristina Regina by the larger Kristina Katarina and also the Kristina Brahe had been sold mostly due to her age. Downside was, that most loyal passengers really loves those older ships and the ships were the true reasons for the succes of the line. The Kristina Katarina, although a very comfortable ship, did not please the passengers that much and it became difficult for Kristina Cruises to fill the ship. At the end of 2013, the company sold off the ship and ended her cruising activities, reducing the company to a travel agency for other companies.
